Installation
Unpacking
⇒ Check to ensure all delivery parts are complete (compare “Standard Delivery”).
Setting Up
⇒ Place the unit on a level and stable base.
⇒ Place appliance with easy access to the mains plug socket.
Wet Trimming
⇒ Connect water hose (7) to water connection (3).
⇒ Connect the water hose to a water supply with a shutoff tap.
⇒ Open the shutoff tap and check for leaks.
⇒ Twist drain hose (8) onto connection tting (10).
⇒ Fix with a hose clamp (9).
⇒ Place drain water hose with downward slope.
⇒ Unroll the power cable (2) and insert the plug into the socket.
Dry Trimming
⇒ Open the front cover (1).
⇒ Remove the spray tube (5).
⇒ Close the opening with the blind plug (6) from the hardware set.
⇒ Close the front cover (1).
⇒ Push the suction tube onto the connection tting (10).
⇒ Unroll the power cable (2) and either insert the plug into the automatic switch-on socket of the suction
unit or into the mains power socket.
Please observe the maximum connection load for the automatic start and suction. If necessary,
connect the suction unit and trimmer to separate power supplies.
Operation
Trimming
⇒ If necessary check and adjust the grinding angle.
⇒ Turn on appliance.
⇒ If necessary, adjust the water level in the water valve (11) or switch the suction on.
⇒ Using both hands, securely set the model on the trimmer table (4) and press it against the disc.
Once the work has been nished:
⇒ Switch off the appliance.
The water supply shutoff tap should be closed when work is interupted for longer periods and
when the appliance is unattended (e.g. over night).
Cleaning / Maintenance
Inside the extractor there are small parts which require maintenance.
Opening the device, other than for the processes described below, is not permissible!
Never clean the device under running water or immerse in water.
⇒ Switch off and unplug the appliance before cleaning or servicing.
Wet Trimming
⇒ Clean the unit using only a damp cloth.
⇒ Remove the front cover (1) and trimmer table (4) and clean with a brush under running water.
Do not remove the grinding table if the front cover is closed otherwise the trimmer disc will be
damaged!
