  If the battery LED light on your Renogy Inverter doesn't flash when holding the button for 7 seconds, the battery selection LED must be enabled. Disconnect the battery from the controller, then reconnect it to reset the controller. Then, hold the gray button for 7 seconds, release it, and immediately press the gray button again to select a battery type.

  If there is no LED indicator when the battery is connected to the Renogy Inverter charge controller, the battery voltage may be less than 9V. A minimum of 9V is required to power on the controller.
