REC Is light when the unit is switched to [1] FADER START
record or record pause.
Numeric peak level indication from
0 to +12 dB in 1 dB steps. If the
level exceeds + 12 dB, "+dB" is
indicated.

HX PRO The HX PRO System’ continually
monitors the bias current during [5] 230/115 VAC

high levels and high frequencies.
Always active in record mode. [7] AC POWER

MPX-F Indicates whether the MPX filter is
switched on or off.
NORMAL Indicates the tape type (automa-

recommended recording level.

of the TIME key.
MEMO Indicates that a tape address has
been stored (MEMO key).
Peak level indicators for the right-
hand and left-hand channel.
Connectors and cabling
When the fader is opened, the
cassette recorder switches to
PLAY mode. When the fader is
closed, it switches to PAUSE
mode. If REC is pressed before-
hand, actuation of the fader
initiates a recording start or REC/
PAUSE.
When the fader is active, the
keyboard is disabled for further
input. The recorder can be oper-
ated normally again as soon as the
fader is deactivated.
