17. RFXtrx433XL - P1 smart meter connection
The RFXtrx433XL can be connected to the Dutch P1 smart meter with the DSMR P1 option board
with RJ11 cable or DIY connection.
The connection can be tested in RFXmngr.
Select the correct parameters and click Set Async port.
Important: the P1 connection must be present!

The smart meter connector type is RJ12. The Metering System holds a female connector, the
customer can plug in a standard RJ12 or RJ11 plug.
RJ12 is a 6P6C (6 positions, 6 contacts)
RJ11 is a 6P4C (6 positions, 4 contacts) This one can be used to connect the RFXtrx433XL.
