• When reversing the black toner and special toner positions, all black settings should be adjusted
for white.
(a) Adjusting the image transfer output / paper transfer output
1. In [Advanced Settings] for the custom paper you are using, select 1212: [Image Transfer
Output], Increase the value in the following corresponding settings by 1.
• [BW]
[Black]
• [FC/FCS]
[Black]
2. Print the image. Has the problem been resolved?
Yes Finished!
No Go to the next step.
3. Has the image quality improved?
If uncertain, set the prior value of 1212: [Image Transfer Output] to "+5", and then confirm the
image quality.
Yes Go to the next step.
No Repeat Steps 1 to 3.
4. In [Advanced Settings] for the custom paper you are using, select 1214: [Paper Transfer
Output], decrease the value in the following corresponding settings by 1.
• [BW]
[Side 1], [Side 2]
• [FC/FCS]
[Side 1], [Side 2]
• [FCS]
[Side 1], [Side 2]
