Why is my RIDGID FlexShaft K9-12 Cleaning Equipment cable kinking or breaking?
    • C
      colton13Jul 29, 2025
The RIDGID Cleaning Equipment's cable may kink or break, or the FlexShaft Machine might wobble due to several reasons. It may be because the cable assembly is being forced, so avoid forcing it. Also, ensure you're using the correct FlexShaft Machine or chain knocker for the pipe diameter. Use reverse only if the flex shaft gets caught in the pipe. Routine cleaning of the cable assembly is important if it's been exposed to acid or is corroded. If the cable or sheath is worn out, replace the cable assembly. Supporting the cable assembly properly and correctly setting up/adjusting the chain knocker are also important. Make sure you choose the proper drill and place the equipment on a level, stable surface.
