TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
Engine fails to start Engine switch is in OFF position. Move switch to start.
Engine is flooded or there is air in the fuel
supply system.
Turn switch to OFF, pull rope 4 times, turn switch
back to ON, then pull until engine starts.
No fuel in tank. Fill tank.
Spark plug shorted or fouled. Replace spark plug.
Spark plug is broken (cracked porcelain or
electrodes broken).
Replace spark plug.
Ignition lead wire shorted, broken, or discon-
nected from spark plug.
Replace lead wire or attach to spark plug.
Ignition inoperative. Contact authorized service center.
Lubricant level is too low. Add lubricant to engine.
Lubricant level is too high. Drain until lubricant reaches proper level.
Engine hard to start Water in gasoline. Drain entire system and refill with fresh fuel.
Weak spark at spark plug. Contact authorized service center.
Engine lacks power Dirty air filter.
Dirty fuel filter.
Lubricant level is too high or too low.
Clean or replace air filter.
Contact authorized service center.
Add or drain lubricant as needed until the
proper level is reached.
Detergent fails to mix with spray Detergent injection hose is not properly
submerged.
Insert injection hose into detergent
container.
High pressure nozzle attached. Use Dual Power Soap Nozzle to apply de-
tergent.
Injection hose is clogged/kinked. Remove or replace injection hose.
Chemical injector is clogged. Clean or replace injector.
Pump doesn’t produce pressure Low pressure nozzle installed. Replace with high pressure nozzle.
Inadequate water supply. Provide adequate water flow.
Trigger handle leaks. Check connections and/or replace trigger
wand.
Nozzle is clogged. Clean nozzle.
Pump is faulty. Contact authorized service center.
Air in line. Squeeze trigger on trigger handle to remove
air from line.
Water inlet clogged. Clean inlet screen.
Machine doesnt reach high
pressure
Diameter of garden hose is too small. Replace with 3/4 in. garden hose.
Water supply is restricted. Check garden hose for kinks, leaks, or block-
ages; clean inlet screen.
Not enough inlet water. Open water source full force.
Wrong nozzle attached. Attach high pressure nozzle.
Not enough power. Increase engine speed.
