1 If other than Cat Pumps special formula premium grade ISO68 hydraulic oil is used, change cycle should be every 300
hours.
2 Initial oil change should be performed after first 20 hours of operation. Thereafter, change oil every 100 hours.
NOTE: If you are not sure how to perform any of the maintenance items listed above, take the unit to an authorized
service center to have the maintenance item performed.
TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
Engine fails to start Engine switch is in OFF position. Move switch to start.
Fuel valve lever is OFF. Move the lever to ON.
No fuel in tank. Fill tank.
Spark plug shorted or fouled. Replace spark plug.
Spark plug is broken (cracked porcelain or
electrodes broken).
Replace spark plug.
Ignition lead wire shorted, broken, or discon-
nected from spark plug.
Replace lead wire or attach to spark plug.
Ignition inoperative. Contact authorized service center.
Oil level is too low. Add oil to engine.
Oil level is too high. Drain until oil reaches proper level.
