: The Second Harmonic Distortion = The Measurement Value of the Second Harmonic - The
Measurement Value of the Fundamental Wave
The fundamental wave is also considered as the first harmonic. For example, if the
measurement value of the fundamental wave is -10 dBm and the measurement value of
the second harmonic is -72 dBm, the second harmonic distortion = (-72) – (-10) = -62
dBc < -60 dBc. The test result does not exceed the specification.
