Description — adapts all ROADMASTER Sterling tow
bars (with serial numbers above 14,500) and BlackHawk
All-Terrain tow bars (with serial numbers above 16,500)
to Blue Ox brackets.
Parts list — (2) swivel ears; (2) round nuts; (2) base
pins; (2) hairpin clips; (2) Allen head shoulder bolts; (4)
plastic washers; (2) metal washers; (2) lock nuts.

Installation Instructions

General Warning

Read all instructions before installing to prevent property damage, personal injury, or death.

Step 1: Remove Lock Nut

Remove the 3/8" lock nut from the bottom of the Allen head shoulder bolt.

Step 2: Position Round Nut

Align round nut with tow bar arm, ensuring tapered end is at the edge.

Step 3: Attach Swivel Ears

Attach swivel ears using shoulder bolts, washers, and lock nut; add metal washer for 031-5.

Step 4: Torque Lock Nut

Torque the lock nut to 45 ft./lbs. for secure attachment.

Step 5: Repeat for Other Arm

Repeat the installation steps for the second tow bar arm.
