6. Signal strength - Five segments indicate the approximate strength of the
radio signal received via the headphone lead aerial. Good quality reception
is generally achieved when at least three segments are visible.
7. Display backlight - The display backlight is normally switched off to conserve
power, but it is switched on for five seconds after pressing any button.
