Robin EH17-2D - Running and Speed Control

RUNNING
KEY SWITCH
(OPTIONAL)
. Insert the key into the key slot
1 and set it at the" I" (ON) position.
I Turning it to the right (START
I position) starts the engine.

I engine does not start.
I • If the engine failed to start, set
I the key to the" I H (ON) position
, and wait for about 10 seconds

I • Never turn the key switch to the
I START position while engine is

CHOKE LEVER
SPEED CONTROL LEVER
After the engine starts, set the
speed control lever at the low
speed position (L) and warm it up
without load for a few minutes.
Gradually move the speed control
lever toward the high speed posi¬
tion (H) and set it at the required
engine speed.
NOTE :
Whenever high speed operation is
not required, slow the engine down
(idle) by moving the speed control
lever to save fuel and extend engine
life.
