Connecting the sender to the AC power adapter
Caution: Plug in the AC power adapter only after your amplifier/external audio device
is connected to the sender.
To connect the sender to the AC power adapter:
1 Plug the AC power adapter into a wall power outlet or the SWITCHED AC
outlet of your amplifier (if available).
If you connect it to the SWITCHED AC outlet of your amplifier, each time you
turn your amplifier on or off, the senderās power is also turned on or off.
Note: The Rocketboost hub device must always be connected to power if you are
operating other senders and receivers in the network. Make sure that your hub device
is connected to a non-switched outlet (such as a wall outlet), not to the SWITCHED AC
outlet on your amplifier. For the hub device to control the network, it needs only to be
connected to power, but doesn't need to be turned on.
Connecting the receiver
Notes:
Make sure that the receiver is located at least 18ā from any WiFi router.
You can use the receiver for wireless surround sound or to listen to your music in
another room in your house.
To connect the receiver:
1 Connect the right speaker to the right speaker-out connectors on the
receiver. Use a red speaker wire to connect the red (+) speaker-out
connector and a black speaker wire to connect the black (-) speaker-out
connector.
