Hold the cable plugs close together to check the
arrows are aligned.
Press the cable plugs gently against each other
and rotate them lightly until they latch into place.
Make sure the cable plug orientation arrows are
still correctly aligned.
Push the cable plugs fully home, into their end
position.
Warning
Great pressure upon the cable plugs and / or, incorrect alignment of the plugs could
lead to irreparable damage of the connection components.
Damage to the cable plug located on the Rohloff E-14 Shifter Unit will render the
entire unit irreparable. None of the Rohloff E-14 components are user-serviceable!
Make sure the cable plugs between Rohloff E-14 Shifter Unit and Bosch eBike loom
is secured well to the frame to avoid the risk of collision with spokes or brake
components.
Serial Number, Service/Repairs
Every Rohloff E-14 Shifter Unit is issued with an
individual serial number.
This is located on the bottom of each Shifter Unit.
This serial number will be required should any eventual
warranty claims be submitted, as well as for
administering later software updates and extensions.
The product warranty will be deleted in its entirety should
this number be removed or defaced.
All Rohloff E-14 components are sealed and not user-serviceable.
Should your Rohloff E-14 fail in any way, please contact your local bicycle dealer for
assistance or component replacement. They can then contact our service department
should they be unable to diagnose the fault themselves.
