1: Art.#8801 – Rohloff E-14 Switch Unit
The Rohloff E-14 Switch Unit is the cyclists interface used to command the Rohloff E-14
Shifter Unit.
The Switch Unit incorporates three buttons:
“+“ Button: To shift upward into higher gears
“-“ Button: To shift downward into lower gears
“M“ Button: For configuration /auto-calibration purposes only
The Switch Unit is designed to fit around handlebars with a diameter of 22 – 22.3mm
(7/8”).
A custom version of the Switch Unit to fit 23.8mm (15/16“) dropbars is available upon
request (not included in kit as standard).
The Switch Unit can be mounted on either side of the handlebar.
The Switch Unit is connected to the Rohloff E-14 DC/DC-CAN Converter via blue, 4-Pol
Higo connector.
2: Art.#8802 – Rohloff E-14 DC/DC-CAN Converter
The Rohloff E-14 DC/DC-CAN Converter is the central electronical connection between
the Rohloff E-14 shifting system and the Bosch eBike system.
The Converter not only ensures the correct, continuous energy supply but also provides
the communication gateway for all components.
The Converter is typically located in either the downtube or seattube (seat height
adjustment may be compromised) of the bicycle frame.
The Converter is connected to the Bosch eBike System via a special Bosch ‘Y’-Cable
utilizing a black, 6-Pol, Hirose connection.
