SECURITY LOCK)
You can attach a commercially available
security lock here. For details, refer to the

[POWER] Button
This turns the power on and o (p. 10).
DC IN Jack
This is for connecting the included AC adaptor.
* By default, ferrite cores are attached to the AC adaptor cable. The ferrite
cores are needed to prevent electromagnetic noise. Be careful to ensure
they are not removed.
* To prevent the inadvertent disruption of power to your unit (should the
plug be pulled out accidentally), and to avoid applying undue stress to
the jack, anchor the power cord using the cord hook, as shown in the
illustration.

External Power Connector
This is for connecting an external power source.
NOTE
5 Using the AC adaptor and an external power source at the same time is not
possible.
5 Use an external power source capable of supplying power
at 36 W or higher.
5 Make sure that the wiring of the external power source
you want to connect matches the unit’s external power
connector. Connecting an external power source that has
dierent wiring might cause malfunction.
5 Be sure to supply DC power within the range of 9 V to 16
V. Using a voltage that is out of range might cause malfunction in the
external power source or the unit.
5 When using an external power source, be sure to refer to the owner’s manual
for the power source.
* To prevent malfunction and equipment failure, always turn down the volume, and turn o all the units before making any connections.
* Provide cable and adaptor plugs to match the connector conguration on the equipment you’re using.
AC Adaptor
Power Cord
To AC Outlet
Place the AC adaptor so the side with the indicator
(see illustration) faces upwards and the side with textual
information faces downwards. The indicator will light
when you plug the AC adaptor into an AC outlet.
USB MEMORY Connector
This is used when upgrading the unit’s system program.
When using a USB ash drive for the rst time, be sure to format it on
the V-1200HD. For details, refer to the V-1200HD Owner’s Manual.
* Never turn o the power or remove a the USB ash drive while the
USB ash drive is being accessed.
* Carefully insert the USB ash drive all the way in—until it is rmly
in place.

This is provided for future expansion.
