Initial use of the appliance
• Remove all stickers and tapes and clean the appliance as well as all accessories. Please refer to
“Cleaning and maintenance“ for further information.
• Bleed the system. Please refer to “Bleeding the system” for further information.
• For better water quality insert the enclosed water filter. Please refer to “Inserting the water filter” for
further information.
• The appliance can also be used without water filter.
permanent glowing in red: Heating-up period of the thermoblock
quickly blinking in red: Thermoblock too hot after steam supply
permanent glowing in blue: Appliance is ready for use
slowly blinking in blue: Power save mode without heating
quickly blinking in blue No water in the water tank or water tank is not inserted correctly
quickly alternate blinking: rotary knob not in position “0“ or “hot water/steam“
