Opening the arm: press for the arm to open
slightly.

To open the arm fully, raise it to the desired position
within 5 seconds. See Fig. 4

Turning On the lamp: press . The lamp cannot be
switched On when the arm is closed.

Turning Off the lamp: bring down the arm fully, or
press for the arm to remain open while the lamp is
off.

You cannot open the arm when the iPod/iPhone is in
the docking station.

To open the arm while you are using your iPod/
iPhone, remove it from the docking station, open the
arm and then replace your iPod/iPhone.
iPod/iPhone

Press the LED display to open the docking station
see Fig. 4. You can safely dock your iPod/iPhone when
this is fully open.

Once your iPod is securely docked, press
until you reach iPod. It will begin playing your previous
selection.

Press to select your iPod’s music. Or do this on
your iPod. Then press
to confirm.

Selecting a track: in iPod mode, press either or
once to scroll forward or backward by one track to reach
the track of your choice. You can also do this on your iPod.

Scroll up and down your iPod music: press either
or . You can also do this on your iPod.

Fast forward and backward within a track: press and
hold
or .

Pausing the track: press once. You can also do
this on your iPod.
Adjusting the volume

Setting the volume: press and hold or to reset
the volume to the required level. The default volume is
6 and the range is 0 (silent) to 20 (loud).

Checking the volume: pressing or will show the
current volume for 5 seconds, then return to the time.
