If that doesn't work, the water level might be too low, or the pump can't reach the water. Regularly return the appliance to a vertical position. If it's still not working, unplug it and refill the water. Also, the steam pump may not be primed, so press the steam trigger continuously until steam appears. If you're using the appliance for the first time, this priming might be necessary. Finally, check that the water tank is correctly set by sliding it up.
