CHAPTER 5 | TROUBLESHOOTING
Symptom: No RS-232 control of AD-4.
Possible Causes:
- Faulty wiring > Check RS-232 pinout.
- Incorrect string > Verify string from manual.
- No carriage return > String requires carriage return.
Symptom: Distortion when using RSP-1
Possible Causes:
- IR output on the RTI control processor > Reduce IR output from RTI
control processor.
- Connection of IR output from RTI control processor directly > Connect
IR connecting block to output of RTI control processor instead and wire IR
emitter from output of IR connecting block (ex. ECB-5).
