07+ JK CB Mount

2. For 2007-2010 model JK’s: drill out rivets using

3/8” drill bit. Rivets will be replaced with Well Nuts.

3. For 2011+ model JK’s: remove center footman

loop by removing (2) Torx Screws.

1. CB Mounting Bracket (1)

2. M5 Well Nut (2)

3. M5x20 Philips Head Machine Screw (2)

4. M5x12 Philips Head Machine Screw (2)

5. M5 Locking Hex Nut (2)

1. #2 Philips Head Driver

2. T-25 Torx Driver, or T-15

Torx Driver

3. 3/8” Drill Bit

4. Drill

1. Position sun visors against side windows. Remove

center portion of plastic windshield frame cover by

gently pulling down until the clips release.

Summary

07+ JK CB Mount Installation

Prepare Windshield Frame Cover

Position sun visors, then gently pull down the center plastic windshield frame cover until clips release.

Drill Rivets for 2007-2010 JK

Drill out existing rivets using a 3/8" drill bit for 2007-2010 JK models.

Remove Footman Loop for 2011+ JK

Remove the center footman loop by unscrewing its (2) Torx screws for 2011+ JK models.

Insert Well Nuts for 2007-2010 JK

Insert Well Nuts into newly drilled holes in sheet metal for 2007-2010 JK models.

Mount CB Bracket (2007-2010 JK)

Use M5x20 screws to attach the CB Mount and footman loop to the outside for 2007-2010 JK.

Mount CB Bracket (2011+ JK)

Use factory Torx screws to attach the CB Mount and footman loop to the outside for 2011+ JK.

Install Devices and Reassemble

Reassemble frame cover, install devices using M5x15 bolts and locking nuts, ensuring safety.
