Camshaft timing
Fit camshaft by aligning marks' A with mark D on the crankshaft.
Camshaft – Antireverse system RY 103-110
it consists of a device on the camshaft which lifts the intake valve in
case of a startup in reverse direction with respect to normal
rotation.
During normal operation, the tappet overcomes the spring
resistance while passing on the system and decompression does
not operate.
In case of a startup in reverse direction, the antireverse system lifts
the valve as the tappet passes by. Startup is thus inhibited.
Note: Check the antireverse system for wear, and make sure it is
kept in the rest position by the return spring, as shown in
picture 68c. Verify that in this condition the clearance
between weight A and surface B is 1 mm.
