Connection of the Water Supply & Drain Hose
• Ensure the drain hose is securely attached, to prevent it coming away while the machine is
in use and causing a flood.
• Fit the end drain hose that is connected to the waste pipe securely by using a “Jubilee”
type clip.
• If the sink is 1000 higher from the floor, the excess water in hoses cannot be drained
directly into the sink. It will be necessary to drain excess water from hoses into a bowl or
suitable container that is held outside and lower than the sink.
• The water drain hose must be less than 600 mm from the bottom of the appliance to
prevent problems during the draining phases.
• Remove the sink plug when the appliance drains water to prevent that the water goes back
into the appliance.
• If you connect the water drain hose to a trap spigot under the sink, remove the plastic
membrane (A). If you do not remove the membrane, remaining food can cause a blockage
in the drain hose spigot.
