6.5.8 Memory
Save target position:
Note
The target position saved will be kept (even after the Ruth-
mann-Steiger is switched off) until a different position is
saved.
Execution at operating panel

Actuate push button „Memorize posi-
tion“.
Move into target position:
Danger!
There is a danger of collision with any obstacles there
might be on the way to the target position!
The operating staff must themselves be sure that no
collision occurs between the working cage, the boom
system or any obstacles when automatic movement to a
target position is carried out! If there should be any ob-
stacle on the way the computer control system takes,
then it must be moved around manually using working
cage’s control panel. Afterwards, the movement can be
continued by pressing and holding down the „Move into
position“ push button.

Actuate push button „Move into posi-
tion“ (keep depressed).
The target position saved will be moved into automatically again by movements
of the boom as long as the push button cited above is pressed.
In most cases, the order of the movements of the boom will not be the same as
the first time it is moved into the target position and this is saved.
