Why won't the heater on my RW Flame RFH-7401LA Indoor Fireplace turn on with the power switch?

  The heater might not be turning on for several reasons. First, ensure the main power supply switch is in the "ON" position. Check if the circuit breaker has tripped, indicating too many appliances on the circuit; this unit should have its own individual circuit. Verify the power cord is securely plugged into a functioning and properly grounded 15 Amp 120V AC electrical outlet. Also, the power cord or plug could be damaged, requiring a qualified electrician to replace the cord. The power outlet might be loose and need replacement, or there could be loose wiring requiring inspection and repair by a qualified electrician.

  If the heater system isn't turning on, first ensure the heater power switch is in the "ON" position. The system may have overheated; if so, it might be covered, or the air inlet/outlet could be blocked. Remove any obstructions, turn off the power switch, unplug the unit, wait 10 minutes, and then try turning it on again. Also, check for loose wiring, which should be inspected by a qualified electrician. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit and remove any blockages from the air inlet or outlet.
