Before attempting to use this product, familiarize yourself
with all operating features and safety rules.

The engine switch (2) controls the ignition system. The switch
must be in the ON ( ) position for the engine to start and run.
To stop, place the switch in the OFF ( ) position.

Putting sand in the sand tank allows greater stability when
operating the cultivator, and also gives added weight to the
machine, allowing it to cultivate with less effort and vibration.

The recoil starter (3) is used for starting the engine.

The primer bulb (7) pumps fuel from the fuel tank to the
carburetor. This is necessary only when starting a cold engine
or after refueling an engine that has run out of fuel.

The start lever (4) opens and closes the choke valve in the
carburetor. The position enriches the fuel mixture
for starting a cold engine. The position provides the
correct fuel mixture for normal operation after starting, or for
restarting a warm engine.

The throttle lever (1) controls the rotation speed of the tines.
Completely engage the throttle lever while cultivating.

If any parts are missing do not operate this tool until the
missing parts are replaced. Failure to heed this warning
could result in possible serious personal injury.

Do not attempt to modify this tool or create accessories not
recommended for use with this tool. Any such alteration
or modication is misuse and could result in a hazardous
condition leading to possible serious personal injury.

To prevent accidental starting that could cause serious
personal injury, always disconnect the engine spark plug
wire from the spark plug when assembling parts.

n Loosen the two handlebar knobs (14) .
n Unfold the handlebar (13) into operating position.
 Do not use force. If there is binding, continue to
loosen the knobs. Do not allow throttle cable to become
pinched when raising the handlebar.

This product requires assembly.
n Carefully remove the tool and any accessories from the
box. Make sure that all items listed in the packing list are
included.
n Inspect the tool carefully to make sure no breakage or
damage occurred during shipping.
n Do not discard the packing material until you have carefully
inspected and satisfactorily operated the tool.

