Opto-insulator electrical
characteristics
- Maximum DC voltage: 50 Vdc.
- Maximum current: 40 mA.
- Settling time: from 18 µS to 10
mS
- Insulation: 200 V peak
On the figure above is shown the typical connection to be used with PLC inputs configured in
“SINK mode”. This is an OPEN collector configuration with all the emitters connected together
and to terminal 5 (AN401 plus, slot A or B).
These AN401 plus outputs are internally protected against polarity reversal with protection
diodes.
