Power (+30 circuit) is supplied via fuse 23 to control
module pins 1 and 48.
The engine control module uses the +30 power sup-
ply for its memory.
The engine will not start unless power is supplied via
the +30 circuit.
+15
Power ( + 15 circuit) is supplied via fuse 13 and the
anti-theft alarm's control module to pin 60 of the
Trionic control module.
Applying power (+15 circuit) to pin 60 activates the
engine control module.
The engine will not start unless power is supplied via
the
+ 15 circuit.

The Saab Trionic control module has the same part
number for cars with a manual gearbox or automatic
transmission.
When power is applied to pirJ 14 by the selection of
a gear other than P or N, the control module is pro-
grammed for a car with automatic transmission.
On cars with a manual gearbox the circuit to pin 14
is open.
