A diagnostic trouble code is generated when the fault
criteria are satisfied.
For the diagnostic trouble code to be cleared without
further action,
40 faultless warm-upcycles must be
c0mpleted.
For the CHECK ENGINE lamp (MIL) to go out by it-
self, 3 consecutive driving cycles must be completed
without the fault recurring.
For the diagnostic trouble code to be cleared,
40
faultless warm-upcycles must also be completed.
