INSTRUCTIONS AND WIRING DIAGRAM
FOR
DYNAMO MAGNETO 12 V 75 W AND BOSCH
SOLENOID-CONTROLLED STARTER (Type DD)
The dynamo magneto generates alternating cu rre nt with a l ight ing power of 75 Watt
at 12 Volt.
The
two yell ow lighting leads are to be connecte d up to the rectifier for cha r ging a
12 Volt 38 (
or 32) Ah battery f or lighting and for operating the electric starter (see
wir ing diagram).
During day operation, because of overcharging the battery, only one circuit is con-
nected up, during night operation both circuits are connected up.
The bulbs should be so selected that they give a total load of 50 Watt .
Care should be taken to ensure proper wire cr oss sections fo r starter opera ti on and
a good earth connection bet we en battery, cha ssis and lam ps .
