The
two yellow lighting leads are to be connected up to t he rectifier for char ging a
12 Volt 38 (or 32)
Ah battery for lighting and for operat ing the electric star ter (see
wiring
diagram ).
Du ring day op erat ion, because of ov er charging the bat tery, only one ci r cu it is con-
nect
ed up, du ri ng night op e ration bo th circuits a re conn ected up.
Th e bulbs should be so selected that they give a total load of 50 Watt .
Car e sho ul d be tak en to ensure proper wire cro ss se ctions for start er op e ratio n and a
good earth connection between battery , chassis and lamps.
