INTRODUCTION
1. General
The Illustrated Part List (IPL) agrees with the ATA 100 specification.
It is used to identify all the components of the unit.
The Illustrated Parts List includes these sections:
- Introduction
- Vendors Code Index
- List of Circuit Symbols (if applicable)
- Alphanumeric Index of Manufacturer's Part Numbers
- Detailed Parts List.
2. How to use the Detailed Parts List
The Detailed Parts List includes the list and the figures of the unit
components.
It has these columns:
- 1st column: Fig. Item - (Figure and item numbers)
- 2nd column: Part Number - (Manufacturer's part number)
- 3rd column: Airline Part Number
- 4th column: Nomenclature - (List of components)
- 5th column: Usage Code - (Applicability)
- 6th column: Units per Assy -
(Quantity for each immediately higher
assembly).
A. Figure and item numbers (Fig. Item)
The figure number for the items given in the list is shown on the
first line of each page.
