How to fix a loud grinding noise in my Sage Coffee Maker?

  If the motor of your Sage Coffee Maker starts but makes a loud racket noise, it could be due to: * A foreign object blocking the grinder or chute. Remove the bean hopper and inspect the burrs, removing any foreign objects. * Moisture clogging the grinder. Clean the burrs and grind outlet, and allow them to dry thoroughly before re-assembling. A hair dryer can be used to speed up the drying process.

Ensure it's rotated to the right past the center until securely locked. * Coffee grounds around the filter basket rim. Clean excess coffee from the rim to ensure a proper seal. * A wet filter basket rim or underside of portafilter lugs. Always dry these parts thoroughly before filling with coffee and inserting into the group head.
