5. First installation
Once the receiver is physically connected, you need to go through the setup procedure to get your
freesat HD and SD channels.
1. Switch on your TV.
2. Press the Standby button on your remote control to wake the receiver up from standby mode.
3. The first installation screen should appear.

4. Press to start the installation.
The receiver searches for the freesat satellite signal.
Please wait until the receiver successfully detects it.
5. If the detection fails, press to view the reception
strength and quality of the satellite signal. Check the
dish cable connections.
When the signal level is satisfactory, press to
resume the installation.
If the level and quality of reception remain insufficient,
contact your satellite installer.
6. Enter your full postcode (without space) using the
alphanumeric keys on the remote control.
Example
: to enter the letter S, press 4 times key 7.
Use the key to delete an incorrect character.
Press to continue.
Note: the postcode is used to install local TV and radio channels.
