Power steering
Power steering uses engine
power to provide better control of
the vehicle.
When the engine is off or the
power steering system is not
working, you can steer the
vehicle as regular but it will take
much more effort.
If in normal engine condition the
steering wheel of the vehicle
needs much more effort, consult
an authorized SAIPA dealer.
Attention
- When the vehicle is stopped
and the engine is still running,
do not hold the steering wheel
more than ve seconds in a
specic position (complete left
or right turn position).
This will damage hydraulic
pump of steering.
- When the hydraulic system
belt ruptures or the hydraulic
pump does not work properly,
you need much more effort to
steer the vehicle.
- If the vehicle is parked for a
long time in the cold weather
(lower than 10°c), the viscosity
of the power steering uid will
increase, resulting in a delay in
power system function. This is
normal and you need to warm
up the engine in idling condition.
