Why won't my Saitek Game Console accept my move?
    • G
      Gary LewisAug 3, 2025
The Saitek Game Console might not accept your move for several reasons. A low tone indicates you might be making an error, so check the chess rules. Consider these possibilities: * Is it your turn? * Is your King in check? * Will your move leave your King in check? * Did you move the Rook first to initiate castling? * Are you moving to an illegal square? Use Take Back to reconstruct the last move. Alternatively, the computer might be thinking; to interrupt it, press PLAY. Also, ensure you've entered the computer’s last move correctly by checking the displayed move and pressing the correct square to complete the move.
