150 g sugar

3 tbsp icing sugar
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp orange (or lemon) essence
Zest and juice of 1 orange (or lemon)
Method
Preheat the Hot Air Fryer to 160 °C.
Beat the melted butter and sugar together until it turns creamy. Add the eggs and
beatagain,thenstirintheour,milk,orange(orlemon)essenceandzest.Pourthe
mixtureintoagreasedloaftinorovendish,ensuringthatitislledbynomorethan

Place the loaf tin or oven dish into the non-stick coated cooking basked and cook
forapproximately30minutesoruntilrmandcookedthrough.Setthecaketoone
side on a cooling rack.
Mix together the orange (or lemon) juice and icing sugar, then pour it over the cooled
cake. More icing sugar will be required if using lemon, to balance out the sourness.
