Callouts
Front Rear
1. POWER Indicator – This LED illuminates when the MDA1 is powered on. The MDA1 can receive
power from either the intern 9 Volt battery or from a mixer’s 48-volt phantom power.
2. INPUT – 1/4” hi-Z input jack for connecting for instruments, line level, or speaker level audio. If
there is no cable connected to the INPUT jack, the MDA1 will power off. This prevents the battery
from draining when the direct box is not in use.
3. THRU – 1/4” output for passing the input signal through to a stage amplifier or monitor system.
4. BATTERY On/Off Switch – Switches the 9 Volt battery on (when there is a cable connected to the
INPUT jack).
5. BALANCED OUTPUT – Male XLR low-Z connector.
