1. Causes of Failure
1) Power voltage out of the motion boundary or poor power cord contact.
2) Poor wiring or poor contact between indoor and outdoor.
3) Poor Main PCB : poor relay (RY702)
2. Inspection Items
1) Power voltage? (AC198V ~ AC264V)
2) Wiring and contact between indoor and outdoor?
3) Compressor to check out 3 minutes delay(stand-by)?
4) Set temperature for "Cooling", comparing with current temperature?
3. Inspection Procedure
Turn power off and on in 5 seconds.
Exchange compressor.
Start cooling by remote control,
both relay(RY702) and compressor on in
3 minutes?
Check Fan speed output
wave style of pins No. MICOM(U101) #26 during
compressor on, "HIGH"?
Check relay(RY702) coil edge voltage during
compressor on, DC12V?
Outdoor power type : check edge
No. 1 ↔ 3 of wire between indoor and outdoor
during compressor on.
Good compressor and relay
Inspect and exchange
MICOM(U101).
Inspect and exchange
power relay(PCB position).
Check Fan speed output
wave style of pins No. U104
