Cause Sequence of Treatment
Developing process is contaminated.
PTB Unit is damaged or dirty
Fuser Unit is damaged or dirty
Lens Cover of LSU is damaged or dirty.
Replace the Toner Cartridge.
Replace the PTB Unit.
Clean or Replace the Fuser Unit.
Clean the Lens Cover of LSU.
Replace the LSU if the glass is damaged
- Black / White / Colored Lines and Bands
Cause Sequence of Treatment
Afterimage on the OPC
Afterimage on the PTB Unit.
Toner Cartridge is installed incorrectly.
Individual color layers offset.
Replace the Toner Cartridge .
Re-install or replace the PTB Unit.
Re-set the Toner Cartridge.
Replace PTB Unit.

Cause Sequence of Treatment
Problem transferring intermediate images to
the PTB .
Contamination of the Paper Path.
Problem transferring intermediate image onto
paper
Check and clean PTB contacts
Re-install or replace the PTB Unit.
Open the covers, check and clean the Paper
Path.
Check and clean T2 roller contacts
Check T2 Solenoid and cam operation - ensure
T2 comes properly into contact when solenoid
operates.
- Deterioration of Print Quality for all Colors.
