6. Remove the ROMs using a chip extractor and keep them safe for reinstallation in case of
emergency.
7. Install the new ROMs with care, in the correct orientation, in the designated locations.
8. Reconnect the power cable, switch on the power and check that the system is operating
correctly. If not, remove the new ROMs, re-install the old ones and contact your dealer or
the Samsung Technical Support department for advice.
9. Set the MEM BACK-UP switch to ON if you switched it off in step 3.
10. If an external battery was installed, reconnect it.
11. Replace the front and side covers of the system unit.
Reprogram the system (using MMCs) if necessary.
