Basic Operation

You can control music or videos being played on the terminal or on other
Galaxy devices. Tapping
on the Media screen and following the on-screen
instructions enables you to play music and other media on other Galaxy
devices.

Delete notication information and notication icon on the status bar.
• Some notication information may not be deleted.

Display the connecting network operator name.

Enter the character to search apps.
• Tap
to search by voice.

Change order and layouts of the quick settings button and set display setting
of the notication icon.

You can power o󱐯, restart, etc.

Indicates the notication panel count and current location.

Adjust the display brightness (P.104).
* Some notications will not be displayed on the notications panel on the lock
screen and you will not be notied about them.
Information
• Quick settings buttons are displayed in blue when the functions are
enabled.
• Touch and hold each notication to set receiving method of the
notication (Alert, silent, OFF, etc.). If you set "Silent", no sound or
vibration is activated when receiving a notication, and it is displayed
only on the notication panel.


[History button]
• Tap a thumbnail of app to activate the app.
• Flick thumbnail up to delete it from the list.
• Tap "Close all" to remove the list.
• Tap the icon on the top of thumbnail to do the following.
- "App info": Set about the app.
- "Open in split screen view": Use split screen view (P.42).
- "Open in pop-up view": Some apps can be launched as a popup.
- "Lock this app": Locks the app to keep it running and will not
remove it from the list even if you tap "Close all".
Information
• The item displayed when you tap the icon that top of app thumbnail
is depending on the app.

You can pin apps to the screen so that other apps cannot be used.
• The "Pin windows" (P.107) needs to be set to ON in advance.

