Using the Mode Dial
ƈ Automatically sets shutter speed and aperture to the proper exposure according to Program line
when taking pictures.
1. Rotate the Mode dial to .
2. Check the Shutter speed and Aperture value on the viewfinder and LCD panel.
ƃ Shutter speed, Aperture value, AE Lock, Exposure value, Auto bracket, Multi-exposure and Flash
compensation are not set in the (Auto) mode.
ƃ Set the aperture to the A position while holding down the auto-
lock button when using a lens with an aperture ring.
