7.1 Network Feature
WAN Interface
The gateway supports two GbE interfaces, each of which can be connected to WAN and
LAN.
LAN Redundancy
When connecting LAN only to the two GbE interfaces of the gateway, the LAN connection
can be configured in redundancy.
NAT
When both WAN and LAN are connected to the gateway, the external network and the
internal network are isolated as separate networks, with the NAT function automatically
converting addresses and exchanging packets between the two.
Port Forwarding
By specifying external network ports on the gateway, packets can be forwarded according
to internal addresses, ports and protocols.
QoS
When VoIP packets and data packets are present at the same time, VoIP packets can be
served on priority.
DHCP Server
The DHCP server of the gateway can automatically assign IP addresses to the internal
boards and other devices connected on the LAN interface.
