SMARTPHONE MOBILE HOTSPOT
Turn your device into a portable Wi-Fi HotSpot so you
can share your mobile data connection.
To use your device’s HotSpot capability, you must
have the Smartphone Mobile HotSpot service added
to your rate plan.
You will see (Tethering active) in the Status
bar when the feature is active.
NOTE: The Smartphone Mobile HotSpot service cannot be active at the
same time as Wi-Fi. Please close your Wi-Fi connection prior to
launching this service.
NOTE: Up to 10 devices can share your phone’s Mobile HotSpot
connection.
To activate the Smartphone Mobile HotSpot
service:
1. From the Home screen, press (Menu)
and then tap Settings g More settings g
Tethering and portable hotspot.
2. In a single motion touch and slide the Portable
Wi-Fi hotspot slider to the right
to
turn it on.
