M332x/M382x/M402xserieshas2typesoftonercartridge.M3320/M3820/M4020serieshastheintegratedtonersystem

andM3325/M3825/M4025serieshastheseparatedtonersystem.Theseparatedtonersystemconsistsoftonercartridgeand

imagingunit.TheimagingunithasanOPCdrum,cleaningbladeetc.

TheOPCdrumischargedwithanegativevoltagebythechargerollerandisexposedbythelightfromtheLSU(Laser

Scanningunit).ThelightproducedbyalasercreatesalatentimagebydischargingonthesurfaceoftheOPCdrum.The

negativelychargedtonersareattractedtothelatentimageduetoandelectriceld.Thetoners(realimage)ontheOPCdrum

aremovedtothetransfermediabythepositivebiasappliedtothetransferroller.
