This section of the service manual describes the disassembly and reassembly procedures for the LS57BPP LCD monitor.
WARNING: This monitor contains electrostatically sensitive devices. Use caution when handling these components.
3-1. Disassembly
Cautions: 1. Disconnect the monitor from the power source before disassembly.
2. Follow these directions carefully; never use metal instruments to pry apart the cabinet.

1. Placeasoftclothontheoorandplacethe
monitor on it so that the front of the monitor is on
the cloth. Lean the top of the stand backwards
until it is at an angle of 5° to 10° and hold and
push the top of the monitor downwards.
Caution: If you try to forcefully remove the monitor
without leaning the stand backwards, the
connecting pin may break. Be careful.
Fragile: Do not break
5° to 10°
2. Turn the monitor so the front section is facing
upwards. Remove the marked parts from the
frontcover,asshowninthegurebelow.
3. Remove the marked part from the top edge of
thefrontcover,asshowninthegurebelow.
4. Remove the marked parts from both sides of the
frontcover,asshowninthegurebelow.
