• Below the two buttons, there are directional buttons consisting of an inner ring and an outer ring. The inner ring
is the Select button, and the outer ring is a four-way (up, down, left, and right) directional button.
• There are two buttons to the left and the right below the directional button and a third button in the middle just
underneath the two buttons. The left one is the
button, and the right one is the button. The button in the
middle is the button.
• Press the button while watching a broadcast pauses the screen and displays the control bar. You will be able
to choose from Rewind, Play, Pause, Fast Forward, Stop Timeshift, Record, Go to Live TV, and Info. Press the up
button to move to the control bar and see the broadcast's actual time and the Timeshift time.
When paused, Slow Rewind and Slow Forward options become available.
To use Timeshift or the recording feature, a USB device must be connected to the TV.
Depending on the model, this feature may not be supported.
• There are two thin buttons underneath the button. These buttons protrude more than all the other buttons
on the remote. The left one is the volume button, and the right one is the channel button. Push these buttons up
or down to adjust the volume and change the channels.
– To mute, lightly press the
(volume) button and release.
– To open the Accessibility Shortcuts menu, long-press the (volume) button.
– To see Guide, lightly press the (channel) button and release.
Using Accessibility Menu
These are instruction on using the Accessibility menu and options.
Depending on the model, this feature may not be available.
Launching Accessibility with a Shortcut
Here, there are numerous options. You can enable or disable Voice Guide, Picture Off, Video Description, Caption,
High Contrast, Enlarge, Grayscale, Color Inversion, Multi-output Audio, Sign Language Zoom, Slow Button Repeat,
and Accessibility Settings and navigate to Learn TV Remote or Learn Menu Screen.
• Samsung Smart Remote
Slightly below the center of Samsung Smart Remote, there are two protruding buttons located next to one
another. The left button is used to control the volume. Press and hold this button to open the Accessibility
Shortcuts menu.
Even with Voice Guide disabled, long-pressing a volume button loads the Accessibility Shortcuts menu and
initializes Voice Guide.
Learn TV Remote and Learn Menu Screen can only be used if Voice Guide has been set to On.
