Record
Record TV programs on an external hard drive connected to the TV via USB.
Connect a USB device to use the TV's recording features. Carefully read all related precautions before using a recording
feature. For more information, refer to "Before Using Record or Timeshift".
Depending on the model, this feature may not be available.
Recording or Scheduling a Recording from Guide
To record the program you are currently watching, open Guide, move to the concerned program, and long-press
Select button. A popup menu will appear. Use the up and down buttons to move to Record. Press Select to begin
recording. Recording will end automatically when the program ends.
To stop recording, go to the program being recorded and press the down button. The control bar will appear. Move
the focus over to Stop Recording and press the Select button. Select Stop once the popup message appears.
To record a program that will air in the future, select the program on the Guide screen and long-press Select button.
A popup menu will appear. Use the up and down buttons to move to Schedule Recording and press Select button.
You will hear a voice prompt the program has been scheduled for recording and be returned to Guide.
Programs that have been scheduled for recording are indicated with the icon. To cancel a scheduled recording,
move to the concerned program and long-press Select button. A popup menu will appear. Use the up and down
buttons to move to Cancel Scheduled Recording. Press Select to cancel the scheduled recording or press to
return to Guide without canceling.
Recording the Current Program
While watching a program, press or to display the recording or Timeshift menu. Available options are as
follows:
• Record
Start recording the current viewing program.
• Timeshift
Starts the Timeshift function.
• Stop
Stops the recording or the Timeshift function that is running.
• Info
Displays detailed information about the current program.
