Temperature Sensor Bad
This field displays an Active message when the switch control’s temperature sensor reads
outside of its valid range.
Electronics Bad
An internal problem has been detected that may affect the operation of the switch. Contact
S&C for assistance in diagnosing the problem and determining the correct action to take.
Switch “Not Ready” Conditions
These are conditions which will prevent operation of the line switch.
NOTE: For S&C 5802/5803 controls, the Switch Not Ready Conditions are on page 3 of
the TROUBLESHOOTING: Event Status screen. To display these fields, click the PgDn
button at page 2 of the screen.
Battery Bad
This field displays an Active message when the predicted battery voltage under load drops
below the Battery Bad setpoint. For more details, see the Operations Instruction Sheet
1041-540.
Visual Disconnect (S&C 5801)
This field displays an Active message when visual disconnect contacts, if applicable, are
open on the line switch. The condition clears once the contacts are reclosed manually.
